Whirlwind Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company made up of 12 artists dedicated to performance, creation, collaboration, and the continued development of their artistry.
Rooted in contemporary, jazz, and ballet-based movement, the company provides dancers with a professional environment designed to support technical growth, artistic individuality, choreographic exploration, and meaningful performance experiences.
Each season, Whirlwind brings together dancers who are curious, open-minded, community-driven, and passionate about contributing to the future of dance. The company values artists who are not only strong movers, but thoughtful collaborators — dancers who are eager to train, create, perform, and continue researching what movement can become.

Company artists train, rehearse, and perform throughout the season while engaging in a process rooted in creativity, discipline, collaboration, and artistic exploration. The company is designed for dancers who are seeking a professional space to deepen their technique, expand their artistic voice, and contribute to the development of new work.
Whirlwind strives to foster a positive, growth-centered environment where dancers are encouraged to bring their individuality into the room, take creative risks, and engage fully in the rehearsal process.
