Currently based in Columbus, Ohio, Whirlwind Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company and nonprofit arts organization dedicated to creating original works that ignite curiosity, foster connection, and celebrate the complexity of the human experience. Through bold choreography, theatrical storytelling, and collaborative creation, our performances invite audiences into immersive worlds where movement becomes conversation and every work asks a new question.

Since our founding in 2020, Whirlwind has grown beyond the stage into a thriving artistic community. Each season, we produce original performances while investing in the next generation of artists through professional training, mentorship, educational initiatives, and community programming.
